How to get free, full, legal versions of software

Every now and then we come across some nice of software that we have to purchase.
A site that I've stumbled across, “Give away of the day” brings out a program every day to be downloaded for a limited number of hours, providing you with a free serial number and ability to apply for registration for free, for some “pro” versions of particular programs, whether it be backups, partition editors, video encoders, professional audio editing, registry cleaners and other stuff.
It’s worth it to keep an eye on the site daily, such as by RSS, and if you wouldn’t mind that particular program, go ahead and download it, if you see that time hasn’t run to both download and register the program for free. When you’re done, just make sure you back up the information such as serial number or code for future installation, and there you have it – all legal, no pirating or viruses involved, and no 30 day trials involved.
This is kind of similar to the time that Techsmith released an older version of Camtasia Studio on the internet for free, which was in my opinion, a great move to attract new users to Techsmith’s products, and possibly purchase the next versions of their products. This is also similar to some computer magazines attaching a disc with some full version software with a chance to register your version for free.
Giveawayoftheday.com explains that it does this, to “...encourage more software publishers to join our project and provide more software titles to you and your friends...” – basically, good for you and good for the publisher.
Have a look for yourself, but remember that each program is only out for free for a limited amount of time. For example, you may be given 5 (or even 15) hours to download something and to retrieve a serial number from the software publisher, depending on when you start downloading. When the time is over, the download is no longer available. Not to worry though, just wait another day and see what they have for you... it’s free. Hope you enjoy this link as much as we do!
